Historic Sportsmen Club
FOUNDED 1958
FOUNDED 1958 Galt Sportsmens Club was founded in 1954. We have since grown into a 250 acre site with a pond and a stream located on Gore Road in Cambridge, Ontario. The Club has always maintained a strong core of membership dedicated to safe sport shooting. We now have some of the finest equipment and facilities available, becoming one of the best sport shooting ranges in North America.

Membership information available on Wednesday’s from 5:30 pm to 9 pm and Sunday’s from 11 am to 3 pm.
If you are unable to join us or require more information, please contact us. Memberships will not be accepted via email. Please bring your valid Canadian Possession & Acquisition License (PAL) with you.

The Galt Sportsmen Club promotes safe, responsible shooting which meets or exceeds federal regulations.
Before applying to join Galt, you must possess a PAL. Any individuals without required license will be turned away.

Possession & Acquisition License (PAL) requires completing the Canadian Firearms Safety Course (CFSC) or passing a written challenge exam. For more information see the RCMP Canadian firearms program website. www.gunexams.com has sample exams. For firearms that are classified "restricted", you will need to complete the Canadian Restricted Firearms Safety Course (CRFSC) as well.
